He is survived by: his wife Betty Carol Zobrak; his children, Gale Schreiber (Gerard) of Athens, Scott Wichlacz (RaeAnn) of Medford, Pamela Ahles (Rick), Julie Lentz (Kevin) of Merrill and Lynn Barttelt (Kevin) of Weston; his grandchildren, Jeremy Schreiber, Russell Schreiber, Travis Wichlacz, Jay Wichlacz, Ryan Wichlacz, Beth Wichlacz, Ashley Ahles, Amanda Ahles, Kacie Gibbs, Nathan Gibbs, Rebecca Consolver, Riley Adam Consolver, Andy Consolver and Trevor Barttelt; his stepgrandchildren, Joe Mahl, Sarah Lentz and McKinley Lentz; his great grandchildren, Haylee Schreiber, Austin Schreiber, Ryan Schreiber, Logan Wichlacz, Paxton Wichlacz, Dakota Wichlacz, Makayla Wichlacz, Aubree Wichlacz, Koal Wichlacz, Kayden Dassow, Kaleb Dassow and Aspyn Steele; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Devin Sperber, Gaj Mahl and Skylar Mahl; his great great grandchild Jasper Nyhus; his brother Jeffrey Wichlacz (Joanne); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Wichlacz, Joyce Wichlacz, Marvel Choroszy and Ronald Zobrak (Jean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (5363 Vilas St, Athens, WI 54411).
