He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaetz and Myrtle Gaetz (Brown); his son Jeffrey; his siblings, Ralph Gaetz (Audris), Mary Hausman (Ronald) and Joanne Laper; and his brother-in-law Darnell Schoelzel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Moen; his children, Jane Meacham (John) of Spencer, Randall Gaetz of Spencer, Jill Becherer (Loy) of Minong, Kevin Gaetz of Unity and Amy Elder (Bryan); his sisters, Carol Kuehling (Dennis) of Unity and Janice Schoelzel of Colby; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Laper. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
