She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Schaefer and Elizabeth Schaefer (Baronsky); her husband Lawrence Stettler; and her siblings, Elaine Rueden (George) and Kenneth Schaefer (Bette).
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Calmes (Mark) of Colby, David Stettler (Ella) of Seymour, Julie Ellenbecker (Kevin) of Wausau and Kevin Stettler (Donna) of The Villages, Florida.; her grandchildren, Tiffani Roltgen (Mike) of Fitchburg, Brittani Mertens (Eric) of Colby, Lyddia Marcott (Phillip) of Grafton, Ashley Zahl (Caleb) of Stanchfield, Minn, Emily Hintz (Alec) of Wausau, Bailey Crowell (Scott) of Wausau, Alex Stettler (Dawson) of Indianapolis and Michael Stettler (Elizabeth) of Bloomington, Ind.; her great grandchildren, Adelline, Stella, MacArthur, Calvey Roltgen, Landyn, Emersyn Mertens, Chara, Aletheia, Hedraios, Elyanah and Malachi Zahl; and her sister Sharon Pupp (John) of Abbotsford.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard's Catholic Church (400 N 2nd Ave, Abbotsford, WI 54405). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Colby Community Library to pass on to others Adelle's enjoyment of teaching children to read and her love of reading.
