He was predeceased by: his parents, Bump Ross and Mid Ross; and his brothers, Ken Ross, Thomas, Gerry, Billy and Robert Ross.

He is survived by: his son Gary Ross; and his sisters, Debbie Disney and Dixie Ross. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
