He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elder and Eudora Elder; his wife Sharon Hovis; his sister Donna Osborn (Duane); his parents-in-law, Howard Hovis and Dottie Hovis; and his brother-in-law Ron Hovis.
He is survived by: his children, Kyle Elder of Zillah and Gina Elder of Zillah; his granddaughters, Lexie Schafer of Zillah and Megan Schafer of Spokane Valley; and his brothers, Robert J. Elder (Dixie) of Toppenish and Lynn Elder (Sharry Cobb) of Yakima. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Due to COVID, a Celebration of Life and internment at Terrace Heights Memorial Park will be held in spring 2021.
Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or Cottage in the Meadow.
