She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Garman and Anna Garman; and her son William Vaughn (Billy). She is survived by : her pet Bella; her aunt Gloria (Jim); and her uncles, Kenny (Sally) and Joe (Sandy). She is also survived by loving cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Facing the pandemic, her skills and passion for travel took her to the frontlines of COVID as a travel nurse.
