She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Smartlowit and Annie Napyer Smartlowit; her children, Alta, Alfred Jr. and Frederick Johnson; her aunt Margaret Henry; and her siblings, Leona Jack, Lucy Winnier, Peter, Gordon Smartlowit and Elliott Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Goudy (Pat), Robert Johnson II, Edward Johnson (Kathy), Anthony Johnson (Colleen), Selina Miramontez (Steve) and Randall Totus (Rose); and her siblings, Veda Adams (John), Bernice Jim, Janet George, Wilma Wahsise (Les), Nancy Smartlowit, Raymond Smartlowit (Cheryl), Wayne Smartlowit, Napyer and Totus.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Valley Hills Funeral Home - Zillah (607 2nd Ave, Zillah, WA 98953). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery.
