She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Reitsma and Clara Reitsma; her husband George Peters; her children, Doris (Jim Hendrikse), Norma (Alan Van Beek), Darrell (Marie Peters), Rod (Linda Peters), Evon (Steve Morris), Randy (Tammy Peters), Alvin Peters (Tina), Brian (Amy Peters) and Carla (Donnie Crane); her sister Janette VandenBosch; her son Vernon; and her grandson Alexander. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
