He is survived by: his wife Michelle Fenton; his stepdaughters, Erika Telfer and Jennifer Petroski; his siblings, Eveyln Fenton-Brown (Mike) and Margo Fenton; his grandsons, Evan Petroski and Brody Walters; and his nieces and nephews, Ana Makihele of Simi, Lineni Makihele, Joseph Kobal, Liana Makihele, Gary Kobal Jr., Siosefa "Joe" Makihele and Zoe Fenton.
