It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lee Brock Sr. of Yakima, Washington, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Brock and James Wesley Brock; his grandfather Chicky; his stepdaughter Linda Madison; his sister Carol Holt (Lloyd); his niece Denise Wilson; and his nephews, Ray and Tim McCoy.
He is survived by: his friends, Grant Erickson, Tony Heckardt, Paul Henry, Stan Connelly and Scott Williams; his close friend Shirley Olsen; his children, Ron Brock, Tony Madison, William Brock Jr. and Christine Brock; his grandchildren, Maci, Amanda, Chelsea, Hannah, Christopher, Christina, Breanna, Deedee, Samantha, Joseph, James, Sierra, Alexis and Linzie; his nieces and nephews, Daryce Hoffman, Cheryl Hecker, Jenifer Mitzel, Bill Wilson, Randy Wilson and Jack Mitzel; and his cousin Art Brock of Enterprise Oregon.
Before Covid Bill and his buddies had their own booth reserved twice a day every weekday for about thirty years at Mel's diner.
