With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Hinojosa Flores (Yakima, Washington), born in Edinburg, Texas, who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hinojosa and Alicia Hinojosa; her sister Lillian; her brother-in-law Carlos Trevino; her parents-in-law, Santiago and Eufrasia Flores; and her brothers, John Florez, Carmen Flores and Jim Flores.

She is survived by: her brother-in-law John; her husband Ismael Flores; her daughter Alexandria (Leandra); and her siblings, Noel Hinojosa (Jane) of Grandview, J. J. Hinojosa (Teresa) of Grandview and Celine Castillo (Armando) of Grandview. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
