Rosa Hernandez Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Hernandez of Yakima, Washington, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Silvano Diaz Degante and Luisa Barrera Zandoval; her siblings, Susana, Juana, Cristo, Socorro, Amada, Teofilo, Pedro and Andres; her children, Luisa, Edgar, Alma, Adan, Maria, David and Lorena; and her caregiver Nicole. She was also cherished by 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shaw & Sons Funeral Home - Yakima (201 N 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Terrace Heights Memorial Park (3001 Terrace Heights Dr, Yakima, WA 98901).
