He was predeceased by: his significant other Helen Mae Adams; his parents, Melvin Tanquary and Hazel Tanquary; and his grandparents, George and Roxy Reams.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Mae Sandino, Robin LaRue Wilks and Donald Mel Tanquary; his sister Betty Delight Maier; his grandchildren, Jeremy Sandino, Christina Ramirez, Ronnie Grow and Katie Spear; his great grandchildren, Jayden Sandino, Ariana Sandino, Dominic Sandino, Xyla Roberts, Levi Grow, Lilly Spear and Tyler Spear; his nephew Stacy M. Edinger; his brother Billy Fayne Tanquary; and his aunts and uncles, Betty, Bob Carpenter, Don and Dawn Reams.
He lived alone, continued to drive, donating his time serving lunches at the Salvation Army, ringing the bell at Christmas and was very involved in church.
