She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Shepherd and Jane Shepherd; her brother Peter Merrill Shepherd; and her former husband Rod Duthie. She is survived by: her children, Peter (Kristi) and Sarah (Sam); her husband Kevin; her children, Karen, Kameron (Julie), Kristen and Ryan; her grandchildren, Josie of Tyler, AJ, Devin, Hayden, Claire, Kanen, Landon, Millie and Theo; her siblings, Sandy and Mike (Inge); and her nieces and nephews, Chris, Blake (Sarah), Eliza and Laurel.
