It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip Ray Barnes (Yakima, Washington), born in Bellingham, Washington, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Reedy and Gilbert Barnes; and his siblings, David, Raymond and Bernadine.

He is survived by: his wife Hope Barnes; his sister Brenda Sutherland (Fred); his children, Matt Barnes (Suzie) and Michele Waddel (Walter); his stepchildren, Hollie and Travis Terry (Summer); and his grandchildren, Rylan, Isaac, Madisyn, Jon, Haelee, Maciey, Katie, Wyatt, Brooklyn and Caleb. He is also survived by many sisters and brothers in marriage, and many nieces and nephews.
