She was predeceased by: her mother Jessie Mae Carter; and her siblings, George Carter, Jr. and Jessie Mae Harris. She is survived by: her sister Clementine Harris; and her children, Sharon Harris, Stephanie Denise Harris, Cassandra Williams (James), Vernon Henderson, Jr. (Anna) and Leslie Henderson, Sr. (Josie). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren.
