She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Frenzel and Bea Frenzel; her husband Karl Froula; her stepfather Charlie Day; her siblings-in-law, Jim Adams and Donna Froula; and her parents-in-law, David and Margaret Froula.
She is survived by: her sons, Darren (Ambre) and Ryan Froula (Katy); her grandsons, Preston and Spencer Froula (Allison); her siblings, Nancy Adams of Yakima, Andrea Korach (Don) of Houston, Texas and Rick Frenzel (Karla) of Yakima; her stepsister Candee Krell (Brian) of Arizona; her siblings-in-law, David Froula of Sequim, Tom Froula (Lois) of Yakima and Mary Froula-King of Wenatchee; and her aunts, Dolly Kokenge and Pauline Gugliemeli. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Marlene requested donations be made payable to the ALS Association or the Paralyzed Veterans and sent in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936), who is caring for the family.
