He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Johnson and Leona Johnson; his wife Linda Leonard of Sunnyside; and his brother Ray Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Angie Meloy (Randy) and Mitchell Johnson (Grace); his children-in-law, Randy Meloy and Grace Johnson; and his grandchildren, Erin and Ranne Meloy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and many friends.
