Leo O. Dormaier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo O. Dormaier (Yakima, Washington), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Leo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dormaier and Katie Dormaier; and his wife Vivian Blankenship. He is survived by: his daughter Linda Steinloski (Jim); and his granddaughter Keir Pellicer (Tom). He is also survived by great grandchildren, great great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Presbyterian Church (9 S 8th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902).
