It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce H Friend of Yakima, Washington, born in Ruthton, Minnesota, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Broersma and Grace Broersma; her husband Clarence; her daughter Susan; and her siblings, Lloyd, Marv, Marge, Garrett, Bob, Ted and Ben.
She is survived by: her son Duane (Cheryl); her friends, Timothy (Deborah) and Terry (Jill); and her siblings, Elsie, Denny, Dorothy and Ken. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In honor of Joyce in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sunnyside Christian School or Faith Community Church.
