He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his close friend Cathy; his sons, Aaron (Emily) and Brendan (Kristen); and his siblings, Dennis, Brent, Gary B, Ron, Sherry, Peggy, Sue and Debby. He is also survived by three granddaughters, and one grandson.

“I worked with John for many years at Doubl-Kold. I'm going to miss the guy, he helped my family out with an old wood stove when we didn't have the money to get heat in the back of our house. He was always good with the corny jokes, and would lend a hand working on the equipment when he could. He will be missed. -Matt McGuire”
