He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Houfek and Minnie Houfek; his wife Bonita Houfek; and his brother Dick Houfek. He is survived by: his children, Mike Houfek (Laura), Linda Fouts (Dan), Cindy Olson (Bruce) and Mark Houfek (Rosalinda); his granddaughter Heidi Friesz (Olson); his great grandchildren, Hayden Friesz and Taylor Friesz of Yakima; and his sister Geraldine Bourek of Schuyer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
