It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Freida Calahan (Yakima, Washington), born in Willows, California, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Treise and Ona Treise; her husband Bud; her daughter Kelly Porter; her grandson Bryan Johnson; and her sister Bev Barnes (Don).

She is survived by: her children, Diana Johnson of Kennewick, Rita Baechler (Michael) of Port Angeles, Candy Woodie (Gene) of Yakima and Scott Calahan (Reena) of Ellensburg; her son-in-law Greg Porter of Yakima; and her caregivers, Delora and Janelle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
