She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Paz and Andrea Moreno; her husband Manuel Rodriguez Tamez; and her children, Yolanda Tamez Enfield, Jose Tamez and Robert Tamez.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Tamez (Penny), Ted Tamez (Kelli), Marilu Tamez Garcia, Gary Tamez, Letty Tamez, Nora Tamez, Mara Stattner (David) and Derek Tamez; and her daughter-in-law Mary Tamez. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.
