We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024, at the age of 84, Edwin Schelert (Yakima, Washington) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Schelert and Lydia Schelert; his daughters, Melonie Denise (Rod Leslie) and Melisa Deann (Donnie Stevens); and his grandsons, Alex Leslie, Eric Pedro and Joel Leslie.
