“I have known Doug all 43 years of my life. My dad, Matt Mangini and him were the bestest of buds for 50 years. I've gotten to hear the many stories of Doug and my dad when my dad was a young man and how he influenced him to be the man he is today. Doug was the most amazing person I knew. I'm so glad dad and I were there to say goodbye, even though it was too soon. I know you knew we were there when you picked up your head, opened your eyes, held our hands and smiled. Until we meet again. Love u.”
