He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy P. Knobel and Katherine Knobel (Kautzman); his former wives, Florence Bowman Knobel and Margaret Peg Knobel; and his brothers, Eugene and Melvin.
He is survived by: his sister Ester McKinnon; his wife Jeanie Knobel; and his children, Melanie Hendricks, Eugene Knobel, Marlene Hill, Nancy Macewen, Colleen Rathwell, Tammy Morford, Ted Wooten and Kent Wooten. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
