She was predeceased by: her parents, Onesime Remi Marquis and Bertha Ricard Marquis; her husband Jess Downey; her son Lawrence "Larry" Jay Riegel; and her grandson Brian Jay Riegel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Riegel of Yakima, Sandra Riegel Watts of Toppenish, Candy Riegel Jarvis (Terry) of Yakima and Susan Riegel Vaughn (Timothy) of Ronald; and her brother Alphonse Marquis of Yakima. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (1707 S 3rd Ave, Yakima, WA 98902).
