It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn J. Hope (Yakima, Washington), who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carolyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhold Wurl and Alice Wurl; her husband Donald J. Hope; and her close friend Al Bell. She is survived by: her son John D. Hope (Cindy); her granddaughter Ashley Johnson (Branden); her great grandchild Theo Johnson; and her brother Robert Wurl (Doris).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (7809 Tieton Dr, Yakima, WA 98908).
