She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joe Scholten and Katherine Scholten; her grandson Michael Starkenburg; her husband Marinus; and her children, Everett Starkenburg (Jan) of Woodinville, Carolyn Silves of Ferndale, Shirley VandenBosch (Rob) of Edgerton and Scott Starkenburg (Kathie). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
