He is survived by: his daughter Gena; his wife Jeanne; his son-in-law Alex Schirer; his granddaughter Lauren Capri Schirer; his siblings, Brooks Burke Schirer, Linda Spear of Seattle and Diane Kieland of Everett; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Kranda and Michael Kranda of Medina; and also, Gena Barker Schirer and Pop.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a gift in Burke's name be sent to support Dr. John Uy's cutting edge brain tumor research at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
