He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Brutke and Naomi A. Casteel Brutke; and his siblings, Robert "Lonnie" and Karen. He is survived by: his wife Claire Blackwell; his sons, Eric and Mark Brutke; and his sisters, Terrily and EveAnn Brutke. He is also survived by two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
