She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Short and Rose Short (Gaudette); her husband Erwin "Ed" Hoover; and her siblings, Albert Short and Marilyn Short.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Lynn Riffe of Post Falls, ID; and her sisters, Donna Rose Sandvig of The Dalles, OR and Celina May Walker of Richalnd, WA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
