“Call sign Chef, Blake was our VAQ-138 Maintenance Officer - best MO I've worked with in the Prowler Community. As my pilot during Operation Iraqi Freedom - we tore it up! So many indelible memories. He survived many helicopter sorties and impossible carrier landings. Despite these adventurous events he spoke mostly about his son, his hopes and dreams for him. Sadly you've flown your last pass here on earth - may you soar with infinite fuel, clear skies, and hot engines in the afterlife!”
