He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Julio Gonzalez and Adela Gonzalez; his wife Mary Elizabeth Flores (Chavela); his children, Norma (Ernie), David (Kimberly), Carlos (Yoli) and Richard; his uncle Leonardo Garcia; his brothers, Fidel Gonzalez and Gilbert Gonzalez; his daughter-in-law Theresa Gonzalez; his grandchildren, E. J., Brittany, Elizabeth Sarah, Gabriela, Davey, Brian of Adelia, C. J., Troy and Lana; his great grandchildren, Vanessa, Gage, Maya, Cade and Aria; his goddaughter Sonia Gonzales (Jessie); his siblings, Vincent, Marcos, Aurora, Luz, Eugenio and Francisca (Chica); and his nieces and nephews, Jose "Lelo" Valdez, Gilbert Jr., Nina, Ponche, Esther of Nichole, LB, Steven, Elda, Blanca, Irasema, Idolina and Michele. He was also cherished by Numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and family friends.
