He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Cervantes of Jesus Cuevas and Pedro Cervantes; and his siblings, Heriberto, Florentina and Adelina.
He is survived by: his wife Refugia Cervantes (Cuca); his children, Luis Felipe (Nancy), Angelica (Ernesto), Dina (Guadalupe) and Alma (Adam); his grandchildren, Luis Miguel, Kaitlyn, Leah, Citlali, Olin, Diego, Salvador, Miguel Angel, Breianna, Natalia, Daniel, Mia and Leo; and his sisters, Seferina, Santos, Aurora and Maria. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
