She was predeceased by: her parents, Sampson Wahpat and Lillian Wahpat; her brothers, Chester Wahpat, Elthon Wahpat and Kenneth Wahpat; and her daughter Vanessa James.
She is survived by: her husband Vincent Piel Jr. of Wapato; her children, Vincetta James (Thomas), Julie Piel, Janice Piel, Sampson Piel (Tsennibah), George Piel (Chelsea), Gary Piel (Annie) and Vincent Piel III (Trisha); and her brother Robert Wahpat.
