It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Cummings formerly of Wapato, Washington, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cummings and Esther Cummings; and his brother Ray Cummings. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Don Cummings and Kari Freeborn (Bob); his granddaughters, Chelsi Freeborn, Jessica Tartaglia (Chris) and Dannielle Bennett (Lucas); his great grandchildren, Haylie, Tony and Jackson Bennett; and his stepgrandsons, Michael and Christopher Loye.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Yakima Covenant Church, Cottage in the Meadow, or NAMI Yakima.
