He was predeceased by: his wife Eva P. Gonzalez; his grandson Julio Gonzalez Jr.; his parents, Julio Gonzalez and Adela Olivarez Gonzalez; and his siblings, Vicente, Marcos, Aurora, Luz, Eugencio, Francisca (Chica) and Gilbert.
He is survived by: his significant other Eva Pruneda Alvarado; his children, Irasema Cantu (Justo), Idolina Gonzalez, Irma Rodriguez (Joe), Joel Gonzalez (Adriana), Julio Gonzalez (Lisa) and Magdalena Maes (Oscar); and his sibling Segundo Gonzalez. He is also survived by his grandchildren (18), his great-grandchildren.
After marrying on January 19, 1957, Fidel and Eva embarked on their journey of shared dreams to build the foundation of their family's legacy.
