He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gies and Mollie Oswald; his wife Coralie; his siblings, Geraldine Papp and James; his children, Donna Lynne Richwine and David Gies; and his son-in-law John Seeliger.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Wayne (Callie) of Pasco, WA, Bill (Yolanda) and Bob (Amy); his children-in-law, Rosie Gies and Tom Richwine; and his siblings-in-law, Josef Papp, William Bennett and Crystal Krebs. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
The family would like memorial contributions made to the Shriners Children's Hospital of Spokane, WA, through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St., Walla Walla, WA 99362.
