He is survived by: his children, Robin Smith of Bellevue, WA and James Roop (Carolee) of Walla Walla; and his grandchildren, David, Monica, Jesse, Wesley, Casi, Courtney, Stephen, Patrisha and Lance. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
