He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Schneider Laski and George Laski; his stepmother Joyce Laski; his sister Virginia; and his stepbrother Bruce Marcy.
He is survived by: his former wife Charlene Brown; his sons, Jeff and Nathan of Salem, OR; his wife Carole Loften of Dayton; his sisters, Mary of Vancouver, WA and Carolyn of Vancouver, WA; his granddaughters, Jessica and Kiri of Walla Walla; his stepchildren, Tony Loften, Debra Hays, Chris Loften and Mark Loften; his great grandchildren, Alphonse, Damon, Allexa and Aria; and also East. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
The cause of death was complications from the new Delta variant of the Covid Virus.
