It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Klicker of Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hubert Floyd Brown and Illyne Nelson Brown; her sons, Kirk (Nancy, Jr), Kraig (Charlotte) and Mark Klicker (Lisa); her grandchildren, Travis (Chelsea), Nick (Hillary), Natalie (William), Kyla (Collin), Hope (Kramer), Jason (Jenn), Jami and Eric (Madison); her husband Bob; and her sister Karen Messenger. She was also cherished by 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Pioneer United Methodist Church (Bereavement Committee), Walla Walla Community Hospice, or a charity of the donor's choice through the Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St., Walla Walla, WA 99362.

“I remember being surprised at age 12 when our mother told me and my brother, Mike, that we would be picking strawberries that summer of 1960. So I started that summer of 1960, and continued each summer thereafter, through the summer of 1969, when I was 21. I can almost still see and hear Bob & Nancy in the farm "office", still looking youthful, laughing together over some event that took place that summer day during the strawberry season. I feel fortunate to have known such a joyful couple.”
