He is survived by: his sister Ada Fern; his wife Margene; his children, Melani Mangum-Williams (Bruce) and Marshall Mangum (Maria); his grandchildren, Erica Solis (Jesus), Alex Feucht, Julia Vivian (Jon), Megan Pereira (Les), Cail Mangum, Aaron Mangum (Sidnee) and Isaac Mangum (Lydia); and his great grandchildren, Dominic, Liliana, Chloe Solis, Jadzia, Declan, Emris Pereira, Sophia, Elliana and Clara Vivian.
Donations may be made to either Walla Walla Community Hospice or Walla Walla Community College School of Nursing in Mel's name.
