Mary Canby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Canby of Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Blythe and Agnes Blythe of Williamsburg; her husband Arthur of Walla Walla; and her brother Mervin of Williamsburg, Iowa.. She is survived by: her children, Jean (Dale) of Walla Walla, WA, Phil (Patsy) of Damascus, OR, Herb (Lynn) of Surrey and British Columbia. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, three nieces or nephews; and several grand nieces or nephews.
These included aprons, tote bags for new moms through Birthright, Covid cloth masks, and over 200 dresses made from pillowcases for orphan girls in the Caribbean or Africa.
