We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2024, at the age of 71, Manuel Ocañaz of Walla Walla, Washington, born in Raymondville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Manuel departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Manuel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Manuel leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Ocañaz and Teodora Ocañaz (Martinez); and his siblings, Lupe Ocañaz and Ramon Ocañaz. He is survived by: his wife Nelda Ocañaz; his children, Olivia Ocañaz, Alicia Ocañaz-Deccio (Ryan) and Julian Ocañaz; his siblings, Maria Ocañaz, Rosie McEvoy, Luis Ocañaz and Domingo Ocañaz; and his grandchild Jesse Ocañaz.
