The passing of LaVerne E. Nelson (Walla Walla, Washington), born in Clear Lake, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Nelson and Clarice Nelson (Counsell). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nelson (Banek); his children, Darla Thomas, Vicki Brock and Bradley Nelson; his siblings, Alice Garrett (Nelson), Connie Serl (Nelson) and Wesley Nelson; his grandchildren, Jennifer Thomas, Katheryn Segovia (Thomas), Stephanie Nieves (Thomas), Christopher Brock and Shannon Brock; and his great grandchild Anastasia Thomas. He is also survived by 13 Nieces and Nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Blue Mountain Valley Seventh-Day Adventist Church (78600 1st St, Athena, OR 97813).
In lieu of flowers, memorial Contributions may be made out to Your Story Hour or to the Blue Mountain Seventh Day Adventist Church.
