With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Katherine Weingart (Walla Walla, Washington), born in Davenport, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Katherine left this world on November 27, 2024 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Katherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Walter Weingart; and her parents, Herbert Howell and Virginia Howell of Ames, Iowa.. She is survived by: her brother Stephen Howell of Alexandria; her nephew Baird Howell of Highlands Ranch; and her niece Megan Smith of Washington, DC.
No memorial services are currently planned for Kathie but contributions can be made in her name to the James Walter and Katherine Weingart Scholarship Fund at Whitman College.
