He was predeceased by: his wife Patty; his parents, Rosie Basta, (Calabretta) and Joseph Basta, Sr.; and his siblings, Nesta, Pauline and Tony.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam (Dominick Elia), Debra (Roland Erikson) and Karen (Darren Henrich).
