He is survived by: his parents, Joseph L. Towner and Edith Jones Towner; his wife Mary Frances Munns; his sister-in-law Eulah Munns Davis; and his sisters, Betty, Patsy and Charla Jo. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
